He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry Mercer and Sereta Ruth Mercer (Sheffer). He is survived by: his wife Sandra D. Mercer; his son John C. Mercer; his sister Terry R. Witmer (Robert); and his pet Scottish Terrier Duncan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, one great niece.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
