He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar William Thomas, Sr. and Almonia Alice Williams Thomas of Lucketts, VA.; his nephew Theodore (Randy); and his siblings, Jerry Thomas and Claudia Young (Teedy).
He is survived by: his wife Irene Gibson Thomas (Reenie) of Hagerstown, MD; his children, Kim Gibson of Martinsburg, WV, Vernon Wright of Hagerstown, MD and Carmen Thomas Bowens (Eric Bowens Sr) of Hagerstown, MD; his grandchildren, Anthony Hackey, Marcellus Wright, Devaun Bowie Sr., Darius Bowie, Eric Bowens, Jr., Zariah Wright, Jaquez Thomas and Jazeer Thomas; his great grandchildren, Devaun Bowie Jr. and Donavin Bowie; and his siblings, Edgar Thomas Jr. (Mary Thomas) of Harpers Ferry, WV and Jacqueline Dorsey (Thomas Dorsey) of Ranson, WV. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, and friends.
