He is survived by: his brother John Mooneyhan (Chris); his children, Elizabeth Mooneyhan (Ryan Haines), Patrick Mooneyhan (Lindsay Mooneyhan), Sean McElroy (Katelyn Eichelberger) and Hailee Mooneyhan (Michael Herrell); and his grandchildren, Abby Haines, Charlotte Mooneyhan, Pierce Mooneyhan, Liam McElroy and Declan McElroy.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Elks Lodge (11063 Robinwood Dr, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
