He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Melvin Derr and Dorothy Jones Derr-Kehm; and his daughter Tracy Lynn Riggleman. He is survived by: his sister Judith D. W. Hofmann; his son Michael S. Derr of Hancock, MD.; his grandchildren, Donny, Megan and Tyler Riggleman; and his great grandchild Morgan Elaine.
