He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce A. Shank and Mary Mae Shank (Bartles); and his siblings, Ethel I. Drury, Helen V. French, Earl A. Shank and George C. Shank.
He is survived by: his wife Fay E. Shank; his sons, Bruce "Sonny" L. Shank (Becky), Charles R. Shank (Melissa) and Wayne L. Shank (Dottie); his sisters, Anna Mae Harnish, Mary "Gertie" Gladhill and Betty J. Boyd; and also Ronald L. Shank (Nancy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
