With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Ann Smith of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 27, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Garrity and Olive B. Garrity (Pratt); her daughter Thresea J. Smith; her granddaughter Rachelle E. Deal; and her son-in-law Timmy John Deal, Sr. (Molly).
She is survived by: her husband Richard Gerald Smith; her children, Allison Louise Deal, Brenda Lee Rohrer (Kelly), Tracy Jean Smith (Martin McDaniel) and Richard Wayne Smith; her grandchildren, Ashley Nichole Buffington (Mikey), Timmy John Deal, Jr., Rickey Lee Fraley, Jr. (Sheree) and Christopher Lee Fraley (Christina); and her pet Callie. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Carol's name to the Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Rd., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
