It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bettie Ann Burns of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Caleb Embrey and Gertrude Embrey; and her husband Robert Edward Burns. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Gibson (Rex King); her grandsons, Michael Gibson and Kevin Gibson (Vanessa Sinkula); her great grandchildren, Amber Gibson, Alyssa Gibson, Brittany Martin, Christine Doane and Dustin Doane; and her great great grandchildren, Romily Gibson and Maddox Martin.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
