With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bette Sokol (Hagerstown, Maryland), born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on September 29, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Estock and Mary Katherine Estock (Stefanic); her husband Joseph Sokol, Sr.; her children, Joseph Sokol, Jr., John Michael Sokol (Linda) and Mary Kathleen Greco (Ron Greco); her grandchildren, Laura, Alan, Mark and Kevin; her stepgrandson James; her brother Paul John Estock; her son Steven Sokol; her daughter-in-law Melody Sokol (Kline); and her sister-in-law Paula Estock. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Steven Sokol Memorial Scholarship Fund at St. Mary's School, in Hagerstown.
