It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Midtgaard (Hagerstown, Maryland), born in McCoole, Maryland, who passed away on December 15, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent William Atkins; her husband Sid; her children, Brenda and Butch; her brothers, Bobby and Bill; and her great grandchild Alex.

She is survived by: her parent Hazel Francis Shimminger (Keckley); her pet Buddy; her children, Debra Canfield, Robin Shipp (Donnie) and Rick Shipp (Peggy); her stepdaughters, Kathy and Carolyn; her brother Harry Shimminger; and her grandchildren, Angie, Brett, Jenifer, Bill, Jessica, Miles and Candace. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
