We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2024, at the age of 89, Astrid Elizabeth Pfeiffer of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in New York, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernst Pfeiffer and Alice Pfeiffer (Strobel); and her son Evan Ernest Gettier. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Lisa" Jacque (Alan), Edmund "Skip" Lee Gettier, IV, Sheila Ann Astrid Plungis (Thomas) and David Brian Gettier (Maria); and her grandchildren, Emily Sanson, Laura Bok, Robert "Bob" Jacque, Brian Plungis, Devon Plungis and Daniela Darden.
