With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur Clarence Shearer Jr. (Hagerstown, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 29, 2024 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Shearer, Sr. and Anna Shearer (Walters); his sons-in-law, Greg Nutter and Roy Gilleo; and his grandson Christopher Michael.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Nutter Gilleo, Judy Cree (Randy), Beth Schildknecht (Steve) and Laura Melville (Paul); his son-in-law Leslie Michael III; his grandchildren, Kelly Michael and Jamie Boryk (John); and his great grandchildren, Caden Rose, Benjamin and Lucy Boryk.
