He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schlotterbeck and Edith Schlotterbeck (Marker); and his siblings, Albert, Jr., Donald, Paul, Martha Jane and Dorothea (Dot).

He is survived by: his wife Jean Yvonne Schlotterbeck (Barr); his daughter Kristi Frush (Tom); his grandsons, T. J. and Daniel Frush; and his siblings, Kenneth Schlotterbeck (Judith) of Florida and Patricia Hovermale of Hagerstown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
