He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gardner Sr. and Dorothy Gardner; and his siblings, Barbara Kelley and John Gardner (Jack). He is survived by: his wife Janice Bishop; his sons, William Gardner III (Anna) of Greensboro, MD and Timothy Gardner (Amy) of Harrington, DE; his siblings, Thomas Gardner (Barbara Jo) and Mary Jane LeCompte (Charles); his grandchildren, Meredith, Ashlyn, Kylee Mae, Hannah, Nicholas and Nathaniel; and his great grandchildren, Cole, Charlotte, Rowan and Reagan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to the Caroline County Bird Club 3 Crouse Park Lane, Denton, MD 21629 Services will be private.
