He was predeceased by: his parents, Meredith C. Jones, Sr. and Robert W. Baker; his siblings, Meredith C. Jones, Jr., Howard L. Jones and Irene J. Berry; his granddaughter Hannah G. Jones; his niece Brenda Berry; his brother-in-law John Boone; and his nephew Michael Boone.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy S. Jones of Dover; his children, Ralph "Chuck" Jones Jr. (Joan) of Denton, MD, David W. Jones (Gayle) of Felton and Donna M. Coe (Jeff) of Dover; his siblings, Norma Boone of Church Hill, MD and John Quinn of The Villages, FL; his grandchildren, Rebecca Hendrix, Jennifer Boyer, Chris Jones and Joshua Coe; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Heaton, Logan Heaton, Jonas Boyer, Henry Boyer and Gabriella Jones. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
