She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara Ann Hatfield. She is survived by: her father John Louis Muter; her husband Anthony Cephas; her children, Anna Mae Cephas, Eddie Boyce, Taylor Gawne (Colby Hammon), Jessica Knotts and Mae Harrington; and her granddaughter Raelynn Joy Hammon. She is also survived by children that looked up to Karen as a mom.
