He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Edward Thompson and Maragret Jane Young (Hill); his wife Florence Elizabeth Thompson (Liz); his children, James C. Thompson Jr. (Amy) of Greenwood, DE and Tina M. Carroll (Nash) of Ridgely, MD.; his grandchildren, Cody J. Carroll (Heather) of Denton, MD, Bailey E. Towers (Tommy) of Greensboro, MD and Waylon A. Carroll of Ridgely, MD.; and his great grandchildren, Jace W. Towers and Addison R. Towers. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home (106 W Sunset Ave, Greensboro, MD 21639). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
