She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Evans of Elmira and Lorraine Evans (Kimball) of Elmira; and her brother Raymond Evans of Elmira. She is survived by: her siblings, June Wilson of Elmira, NY, Sharon Bennett of Big Flats, NY, Ronald Evans Sr. of Corning, NY and Karl Ireland of Plano, Texas.; her sons, Derrick Comfort (Catherine) of Denton and Paul Comfort (Lisa) of Queen Anne; her grandchildren, Christina Beall (Aaron), Susanna Comfort, David Comfort, Sarah Comfort, Joshua Comfort, Rebecca Comfort, Josiah Comfort, Noah Comfort, Joseph Comfort (Danielle), Amanda Freeland (Pete), Carrie Comfort, Daniel Comfort (Brianna), Melissa Comfort and Jenna Comfort; and her great grandchildren, Ezra Beall, Aimee Beall, Aubree Freeland, Natalee Freeland, Emmet Comfort, Oliver Beall, Forrest Freeland, Sunny Comfort, Aurelia Beall and Penelope Freeland.
