He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellet Wilson, and Talmage G. Wilson, Sr.; his wife Margaret; and his brothers, Wendell and Hilton Wilson.

He is survived by: his sister Hilda Branch; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa McClendon, Vicki Wilson, Karen Archia, Anita Lowe, Charlotte Roy, Stephanie Gordon, Veasey, Jeffrey Wilson, Eric and Emerson Branch.
