With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael J. Szachnitowski (Greenbelt, Maryland), who passed away on March 1, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Szachnitowski and Kathleen Szachnitowski. He is survived by: his wife Karen Szachnitowski; his sons, William Szachnitowski and Michael Szachnitowski; and his grandson Trent Szachnitowski. He is also survived by nine brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews.
Michael's body has been donated to the Anatomy Gift Registry Program to further scientific research for Alzheimer's disease and ALS.
