Leonard Moriarty Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Moriarty of Greenbelt, Maryland, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 18, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moriarty and Honora Moriarty; his siblings, Joan (Jerry O'Neill), Jimmy (Rosa Moriarty), Pat (Frank Adamcik) and John Wagnes; his wife Ann Kerfoot Lawless; and his daughter Colleen Wagner.
He is survived by: his friend Erie; his son Michael (Julie Moriarty); his grandsons, John Wagner, Danny, Mitchell Moriarty, Aidan, Liam, Collin and Roan Toole; his children, Kerry (Steven Toole), Brendan Moriarty and Noreen (Scott Crawford); his sister Mary Wagnes of Bradley Beach, NJ; and also, Sheila Hughes, Margaret Carberry, Jean, Mary Kerfoot of Dublin and Ireland. He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews.
There will be no wake or repass due to Covid-19 restrictions. A maximum of 100 people will be permitted in the church with a mask and must adhere to six feet of social distance.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Len's name.
