He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dudley Ivy Sr. and Sue Ivy Namur; and his siblings, Betty Sue Parker, Ralph Dudley Ivy Jr., Karen and Soulier.
He is survived by: his wife Linda of Greenbelt; his children, Kelly P. Ivy Jr., Jamie Apgar Howarth (Robert), Amanda Williams (Daniel) and Emily Cole (Christopher); and his siblings, Mary Caserta, Sue Kinion-Ivy and Danny Ivy. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
