She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie B. Short and Charles Short; her husband William B. Wright; and her siblings, Robert Short, Elizabeth Alcorn, Willis Short, Danny Short, Beula Duncan, Vernie Willenborg, Jackson "Jack" Short and Paul Short.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Wright of Great Mills, MD, Debbie Welsh of Great Mills, MD, Becky Hall (Tommy) of Leonardtown, MD and Sharon Gonzalez (Abel) of Great Mills, MD; and her sisters, Irene Prisen and Joyce Smith. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
