Mary Theresa Schroyer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2025, at the age of 92, Mary Theresa Schroyer of Grantsville, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W. Murphy and Theresa Murphy (Selby); her husband Robert Franklin Schroyer; her son Steven Dale Schroyer (Hanna); and her siblings, Esther M. Benedict and Robert S. Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Tichnell (Harland), Lisa Nelson of Abingdon, MD, Mark Schroyer (Judy) of Bittinger, MD and James A. Schroyer of Baltimore, MD; her grandchildren, Robert Charles (Tichnell), Michelle Bach, Geoffrey Schroyer, Jennifer Grabiec, Brian Schroyer, Craig Schroyer, Nicholas Nelson, Justin Schroyer and Christopher Schroyer; and her great grandchildren, Darwin Grabiec, Malakai Bach, Kierstyn Bach, Molly Schroyer, Zora Grabiec, Austin Schroyer, Wyttn Schroyer, Wattson Schroyer, Collin Schroyer and Tyler Schroyer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Newman Funeral Homes (179 Miller St, Grantsville, MD 21536). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
