She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hilliard and Minerva Hilliard (Leonard); and her husband Vernon Bowser. She is survived by: her children, Johnny D. Bowser (Marcy), Richard E. Bowser (Stacy) of Accident, MD, Scott A. Bowser (Bobbie) and Mary Bowser Mone (Steve) of Oakland, MD; and her grandchildren, Tiffany, Chris, Hunter, Samantha, Raelyn, Kaylee, Jenna and Emily. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newman Funeral Homes (179 Miller St, Grantsville, MD 21536). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
