It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Gilpin of Grantsville, Maryland, born in Frostburg, Maryland, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Titus and Clesta Catherine Gilpin (Meyers); his brothers, Julius and Grady Gilpin; and his siblings-in-law, Gary O'Brien, Clair Wilt, Fred Albright, Glenna Gilpin and Janet Gilpin.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Faye Gilpin (Schurg); his sons, David G. "Greg" Gilpin (Accident, MD) and Dennis G. Gilpin; his siblings, Ray Gilpin of Glenmont, OH, Clinton Gilpin of Warren, OH, Richard Gilpin (Helen), Roger Gilpin (Bittinger, MD), Kenneth Gilpin (Donna), Waunita Wilt, Lois Sweitzer (Donald) and Maxine O'Brien; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Schurg (Cathy) and Judy Albright (Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
