She was predeceased by: her daughter Edna Ryan-Downes; and her siblings, Edith Miller of Lorraine Hibbs and Emory Lee Parks. She is survived by: her children, Peggy L. Eyster of Goldsboro, Donna Savina of Utah, Becky Jones of North Carolina, Clayton Nott of Greensboro and Mary Downes of Greensboro; her stepson James E. Downes Jr. of Denton; and her sister Mary Lee of Goldsboro. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
