He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia; his children, Helmand and Ariana; his children-in-law, Yusuf Karzai and Naomi Karzai; his grandchildren, Rumi, Amaya, Ayah and Isaac; his siblings, Mahmood Karzai, Fozia Royan, Hamid Karzai and Shawali Karzai; and his parents, Abdul Ahad and Durkho Karzai.
