He is survived by: his parents, Walter Smelter and Elizabeth Smelter; his wife Debbie Smelter; his children, Christopher Smelter (Laura Campbell) of Newark, MD and Jennifer Mullins (Dustin Mullins) of Glen Burnie; his siblings, Walter Smelter, III of Bishopville, MD and Patricia Ashburn of Pasadena; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Cameron, Cole, Mason and Caroline.
