He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jean Harmon Smalley; his children, Paul Michael Smalley (Dawn) of Grand Rapids, MI, Stephen Dale Smalley (Kellan) of Columbia and Jeannine L. Smalley of Baltimore; and his grandchildren, Abigail, Aaron, Sarah, Levi, Elizabeth and Michael Smalley.
