He is survived by: his wife Diane Nelson-Evans of Millersville; his daughter Emily Lauren Evans of Pasadena; his adoptive son Matthew Nickelson of Pasadena; his sister Linda Evans-Lericos of Utah; his nieces, Cassidy and Megan Evans of Maryland; his nephew Brandon Daniel Nelson of Glen Burnie; his sister-in-law Judy Nelson-Hall (Daniel Hall) of Brooklyn; his nieces, Cynthia Hall of Belair, Tiffany Hall and Ashley Hall of Brooklyn; and his pets, Dottie and Buster.
