It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James C. Parsons of Glen Burnie, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Lynn Parsons; and his parents, Chester Parsons and Alice Parsons. He is survived by: his daughters, Jana Parsons (Julie Wooden), Carrie Miller (Scott Miller) and Jamie Skorobatsch (Dan Dunkerly); his grandchildren, Nick Burroughs, Zachary Burroughs, Adam Skorobatsch, Laura Skorobatsch, Kale Miller, Maxx Miller, Jorja Miller and Isabelle Dunkerly; and his great grandchild Hailey Burroughs.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home (3111 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local sports program of your choice in James' memory, to continue his legacy of supporting youth athletics.
