She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Deaver and Viola Deaver (Gohlinghorst); her sister Billie Singleton; her husband David H. Buchanan; and her close friend Arthur White.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Lee Arnie of Glen Burnie, Julia Ann Strathen (Richard) of Glen Burnie, Joann Marie Barnes (Jeffrey) of Ormond Beach and Janice Lyn Buchanan (Michael B. Silvestri) of Glen Burnie; her siblings, Janet Mae McCormick of North Carolina and Marlyn Lee Daniels (Ted) of Arizona; her brother-in-law Philip Buchanan; her grandchildren, Shannon Blair (Dennis), Nicholos Pleyo (Bethany), Trisha O'Neal (Fred), Josh Metzger (Gale), Chelsey Wingard (Gabe), David Buchanan and Kolton Buchanan; and her great grandchildren, Austin Pleyo, Alyssa Blair, Aidan Blair, Abby Blair, Nicky Pleyo, Cameron Pleyo, Taylor O'Neal (Zack), Colin O'Neal, Maddox Wingard, Parker Buchanan and Carly Buchanan.
