He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry H. Smith and Elsie L. Smith; and his brother Wesley Smith. He is survived by: his wife Marlyn O. Smith (Hill); his daughters, Pamela A. Burck (Bob) of Glen Burnie and Debra A. Smith of Linthicum; his brother Henry Smith of Sparks; and his grandchildren, Kelly Sopel and Robert E. Burck III (Chrissy).
