With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris J. Payne-Mason (Glen Burnie, Maryland), who passed away on September 11, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Talman Tyson and Fannie Tyson; her husband Edward F. Mason; her son Robert Terry "Bobby" Payne; and her sister Katheryn Tyson-Cooper.

She is survived by: her children, Perry J. Payne of Stafford, VA, Darlene Payne-Roach of Willis, TX and Penny G. Payne-Gillette of Myrtle Beach, SC.
