With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Gene Norlie (Glen Burnie, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Donald may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Ruth Norlie; and his parents, Milton O. Norlie and Bertha Norlie. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Tomlinson (Terence) of Glen Burnie, MD; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Tomlinson and Kathryn Tomlinson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tomlinson Residence (1426 Gordon Dr, Glen Burnie, MD 21061). A graveside service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery (2556 Susquehanna Rd, Roslyn, PA 19001).
