He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Graham Plews and Maude Plews (Kremer); and his siblings, Robert Plews, Nancy Knight (William), Shirley Plews and Bonnie Deihl (Jack).

He is survived by: his close friend Marian A. Trumpe; and his siblings, Richard Plews (Patsy), Paul Plews (Beth) and Barbara Plews.
