She was predeceased by: her son Mathew. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth E Thierer; and her children, Kenneth P. of Glen Burnie, Andrew P. of Ellicott City, George of Glen Burnie, Mary Catherine of Marriottsville, Barbara M. of Oliver Beach and James M. of Towson.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Maryland Association for Parkinson Support.
