She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stidham and Ann Stidham; her husband Charles T. Winters, Jr.; her brothers, Robert Stidham and John Stidham; and her sister-in-law Sharon Stidham.

She is survived by: her children, James "Jim" Winters (Jen) of Lakeland and Dawn M. Winters of Bethesda, MD; her grandchildren, Crystal Roman, Ashton Winters and Claire Winters; and her sister-in-law Carol Stidham.
