He was predeceased by: his father Billy Merrill; and his granddaughter Adeline Merrill. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis M. Kutcher Merrill of Glen Burnie; his sons, Joshua A. Merrill (Kendra) of Austin, TX and Peter C. Merrill (Rebecca) of Raleigh, NC; his brother David Merrill; his sisters-in-law, Susan Razik (Al) and Muriel Bonuccelli (RT); and his grandchildren, Katherine and Asher Merrill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
