Ruth Ann Laatsch Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ann Laatsch of Glen Arm, Maryland, who passed away on May 17, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Shanklin and Claire Shanklin (Marshall); her husband Philip Laatsch; her son Douglas Laatsch; and her siblings, Marie Leimbach and Tom Shanklin.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Laatsch (Rebecca) of New Windsor, MD, Jerry Laatsch (Rebecca Bushey) of Hagerstown, MD and Elizabeth Laatsch; her daughter-in-law Mary Laatsch of Hampstead, MD; and her brothers, LeRoy Shanklin of Bel Air, MD and Robert Shanklin of Fulton, MD. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
