We bid farewell to Dan McConaughy of Glen Arm, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 20, 2025 at the age of 96. Dan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Doc" McConaughy and Miriam McConaughy (Bailey); and his brothers, David and Paul. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann McConaughy (Hakenjos); his children, Stephen McConaughy (Rita), Peter McConaughy (Michele), Andrew McConaughy (Carol) and Lois Johnson (Ed); and his grandchildren, Kris, Nathan, Amy, Angela, Rick and Dana. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (224 N Main St, Bel Air, MD 21014). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Bel Air (224 N. Main St., Bel Air, MD 21014) or the benevolence fund of the Glen Meadows Foundation (11630 Glen Arm Rd., Glen Arm, MD 21057).
