With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilson Kenneth Payne of Girdletree, Maryland, born in Salisbury, Maryland, who passed away on September 1, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilson Kenneth Payne Sr. and L. Octavia Payne Cherricks; his daughter Juanita Payne Watson of Greenbackville, VA; his granddaughter Brittany Laffin (Brandon) of Deerwood, MN; his great grandchildren, Sierra and Chase Laffin; and his aunt Georgia Hickman. He was also cherished by companion cat, "Tom", and many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Girdletree Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 25, Girdletree, MD 21829.
