She was predeceased by: her parents, George Truitt and Ella Davis Truitt; her husband Earl Thomas Jones, Sr.; and her son Earl Thomas Jones, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Michael Lee Jones (Debbie) of Salisbury; her grandson Brian Jones (Chelsey) of Salisbury; her great grandchildren, Brantley Jones and Lucy Jones; her sister Goldie Selby of Girdletree; and her daughter-in-law Beverly Jones of Salisbury. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church of Girdletree.
