She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin R. Hooks and Ruth M. Hooks (Andrews); her husband Richard F. Watson Jr.; her former husband Leroy T Burkett; and her brother-in-law Gary Lambertson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynda Outten (Barry) and Jessica Burkett (Shawn); her grandchildren, Barry Jr., Kourtney, Jordan, Chelsey, Austin and Collin; her great grandchildren, Neal Rhea, Paislee and Justice; her sisters, Terri Lambertson, Sharon Blank (Bill), Patricia Brittingham (Rudy) and Lisa Somers (Patrick); and her mother-in-law Kathleen Burkett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spring Hill Cemetery - Girdletree (3120 Snow Hill Rd, Ocean City, MD 21829).
