Vinnette Hamilton Obituary

Vinnette Verona Hamilton, age 53, of Germantown, MD, died Monday, October 31, 2022, of a myocardial infarction. She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Hamilton, and her mother, Gladys Hearns. She is survived by sisters Fazee and Michelle; brothers Carlton, George, Dennis, Paul, Athol, and Kishon; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Born in Jamaica, Vinnette emigrated to the United States, where she originally worked as a nanny. She would go on to earn a degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and several Microsoft Certifications. For nearly three decades, she worked in quality assurance testing software for the American Red Cross, Amazon, federal subcontractors and Expression Networks LLC. Affectionately known as "AnnMarie" to friends and family, Vinnette, was a passionate fan of international Track & Field, Soccer, and Football.
