It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Mary Burroughs of Germantown, Maryland, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry William F. Appleby Sr. and Marguerite Riley Appleby; and her husband Clifton E. Burroughs, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Clifton E. Burroughs, Jr. of Germantown, MD, James M. Burroughs of Iva, Maryanne E. Stolz (Stephen Jr.) of Frederick, MD and Raymond A. Burroughs of Germantown, MD.; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Samantha, Phillip, Rachel, Jack and Stephanie; and her siblings, Florence Appleby Rich (Gary), George W. Appleby, Charles A. Appleby (Maureen), Thomas W. Appleby (Sylvia) and John Appleby, Sr. (Thelma).
