She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Nolan and Charles Nolan; her husband Joseph Irving Dorsey; her daughter Patricia Nolan; and her brothers, Charles E. Nolan Jr., Preston L. Nolan and Carroll E. Nolan.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Nolan (Wendy) and Noel Mangum (Leo); her grandchildren, Elissha Whitfield (Bashshar), Anita Odemene (Arthur), Vanessa Nolan-Barnes (Marcus), Michelle Anderson, Shonta Pettaway, Sheree Pettaway, Jeramiah Castillo, Jacob Whitfield, Tyrell Nolan, Jordan Anderson, Jayden Lawson, Ernie Burrell and Markel Dunkins; her brothers-in-law, J. Henry Chaney and Charles Howard; her friend Geraldine Stewart; and her sisters, Edith Hoes, Ida Mae Chaney, Kathleen Prather, Barbara Ann Howard and Carleen R. Nolan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was a devoted member of the church until it closed, due to Covid-19.
