She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hunt and Violet Grace Hunt; her husband Otis Edwin Smith, Sr.; and her grandson Scott Hood. She is survived by: her children, Darlene Hood (Eddie) of Germantown, MD, Otis E. Smith, Jr. (Joyce) of Ijamsville, MD, Robert Smith (Betty) of Gaithersburg, MD and David Smith (Janet) of Gaithersburg, MD.; and her sister Mildred Smith of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
