She is survived by: her husband Nelson Ayala; her son Jeff McCarthy of Charles Town, WV; her siblings, Sherry Simpson of Gambrills, MD, Joey McCarthy (Tara) of Summit Point, WV and Chris McCarthy (Cate) of Charles Town, WV; her sister-in-law Silvia Ayala of Woodbridge, VA; her nieces and nephews, Yonas, Aliyah, Marissa, Haylee, Emiley, Bryson, Marcus, Ryan, Josh, Sean, Kelly, Jack, Yovanis and Jonathan; and her great-niece Valentina.
