He is survived by: his son James, III (Ellie Hitt); and his parents, Terri and Jim. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home (11800 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20904). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
